Bang (2025) Full Recap
It's all here. The mind is at rest in action. When a mafia boss is about to be released from prison, his fellow inmates rejoice and look happy for him. The mafia boss appreciates this and gladly leaves the prison to meet his gang members who have come to pick him up. After this, he is taken to a luxury hotel to rest before he starts thinking about taking down the people who sent him to jail.
While he's at the hotel, an assassin named William Bang breaks into his room and kills all the guards. The mafia boss looks scared. And as Bang is about to kill him. 1 2 3. Open it up. He offers to pay the assassin a lot of money in exchange for his life, Bang doesn't seem to care about the mafia boss proposal, and he completes the job before leaving the hotel.
Shortly after, Bang heads to an antique store owned by his boss, Morgan. Interestingly, the store happens to be a secret meeting spot for Morgan and his boys who are involved in shady dealings. When Bang arrives, Morgan praises him for completing the mission, as he also watches a recorded video of how Bang killed the mafia boss. He enjoys it and says that Bang did an amazing job.
That's right. Morgan's son, Johnny, also happens to be in the room, but he seems jealous that his dad likes Bang and treats him like a second son. Just then, Morgan instructs Johnny to pay Bang for completing the mission. He adds that he'd like to have dinner with Bang tomorrow to celebrate how well Bang performed.
Bang says he'll be available, and Morgan looks pleased. As Bang is about to head out of the store, a customer tries to ask him about an object on display, but he just ignores the man. He then heads over to meet his girlfriend, April, who he takes out on a date to the amusement park. Junior.
The next morning, Bang wakes up early and freshens up before operating an aircraft simulator to learn how to fly a plane. Shortly after, Morgan arrives at Bangs house with Johnny and some of his other boys. Morgan says they're there to celebrate because one of his boys, DJ, is about to get married. Bang looks surprised, and Morgan tells DJ to talk about his plans.
As DJ starts talking about getting married to his longtime girlfriend, I don't smoke. Morgan suddenly smashes a bottle on his head. Everyone looks shocked, but Morgan just pulls out a gun and kills DJ. He says he can't tolerate the fact that DJ wanted to retire and get married. He adds that in their line of work, there's no such thing as retirement.
Johnny still thinks it was unnecessary to kill DJ, but Morgan says he couldn't risk letting DJ get what he wanted because he'd get soft and potentially talk about all the bad things he did. After this, Morgan tells Bang to clean up the body, and Bang does just this. That night, Bang heads to a bar to clear his head. And while he's there, a stranger shows up and shoots him several times.
After the stranger leaves the bar, Bang is rushed to the hospital and taken to the intensive care unit. Unfortunately, Bang has suffered multiple injuries to his heart, and he's urgently in need of a new one. Almost immediately, Morgan arrives at the hospital and heads over to see the chief surgeon, Dr. Christine.
Morgan and his boys barge into Christine's office, and she looks annoyed as she asks what they want. Morgan says one of his friends was just brought in with multiple gunshot wounds and Christine mentions that she's sure he's being well taken care of. Morgan insists that he wants the best doctors to work on Bang's surgery and that if Bang dies, Christine will pay for it. Christine looks scared and immediately heads down to join the surgical team as they try to save Bang.
After a while, the doctors complete the surgery and Bang becomes stable. When he wakes up, Christine goes to check his vitals and see how he's doing. Bang then asks how he's still alive, and Christine says they were able to find a working heart for him. Bang looks confused and asks if the hospital just had one lying around.
Christine says there was an accident around the same time Bang came in. She adds that a young couple were coming to the hospital to deliver their baby and that while the pregnant woman survived, her husband died. Christine says Bang now has the husband's heart because it was donated to him. Bang asks for the man's name, but Christine says it's strictly confidential.
A few days later, Bang finds out the name of the couple and goes to see their newborn baby who was delivered at the hospital. Take it slow. Take it slow. One night, while the baby's mother, Gwen, is sleeping, Bang sneaks into her room to watch her. Gwen eventually feels the presence of someone in the room, and as she wakes up, she calls out her husband's name.
Surprisingly, she notices that there's someone else in her room. But before she can call anyone, Bang leaves. Shortly after, Bang gets better and is discharged from the hospital. Morgan and his boys pick up Bang from the hospital and take him to the antique store to celebrate. Go to sleep.
Slow down. Blow it off. Morgan also shows Bang the severed head of the man who tried to kill him. He then gives Bang a baseball bat and tells him to smash it as part of the celebration. Bang doesn't seem interested in doing this and he says he's not in the mood. Morgan looks surprised and hands over the bat to someone else.
He then asks if Bang is okay because he's acting weird. Bang says he recently got several bullets removed from his chest and that it's normal not to be in the mood to smash heads. Morgan then says he'll tell one of his boys, Momo, to take Bang home. Bang appreciates this, but before he leaves, Morgan tells him to recover as soon as possible because there's a job available for him.
Bang just heads out of the antique store, and Momo drives him home. [screaming] That night, Bang struggles to sleep and continues staring at Gwen's phone number, which he got from someone at the hospital. After a while, he calls the hospital and offers to pay Gwen's medical bills. The next day, Gwen is informed that her bills have been paid by a good Samaritan. Gwen looks confused and asks who it was, but her doctor tells her to forget about it and focus on taking care of her child.
Days later, Bang decides to visit Morgan after ignoring him for a few days. Morgan then implies that Bang has been different since he returned from the hospital. He adds that Bang has to throw himself back into work because that's the only way he'll fully recover from what happened to him. He also mentions that Bang has a special gift that only a few people have.
He says that when the gift isn't used for a while, it can make people useless to themselves and to others. Bang realizes that it's a subtle threat, and as he's about to leave, Morgan sends him a picture of his next target. That night, Bang takes his guns and puts some money into a bag. He then finds his next target and completes the job before sending a picture of the dead man to Morgan, who looks impressed.
Bang immediately gets paid for the kill. And on his way out, he interacts with customers at the antique store and tries to help them get what they want. The next day, Bang finalizes the purchase of an abandoned estate called Venitzia. After he seals the deal, he walks around the estate and starts thinking of what he'll use the place for.
When he returns home, he meets April in front of his house. You getting your She complains that her key didn't work. And Bang says he changed the lock. April looks shocked, but Bang tells her to leave because he's not in the mood to talk. April cannot believe this, and she complains that she came to see Bang, even though she could have stayed at work to make extra cash.
Bang seems tired of having her around, and he gives her some money before locking her out. The next day, Bang cannot stop thinking about Gwen and her baby. After he finds where she lives, he sees her leaving the house and follows her to a supermarket. When she gets there, Bang pretends to bump into her by accident, and she asks if she knows him.
"Do I know you?" Bang says he knows her from the hospital, and she realizes that he's the one who got her husband's heart and paid her medical bills. Gwen thanks him for helping with the bills, but Bang says it's the least he could do. As he's about to leave, Gwen says she's heading to the park with her son Sam, and that she'd like him to come with them. Bang says he doesn't mind, and when they get to the park, Gwen tells him about Sam's sleeping habits.
She eventually asks what he does for work, and he says he sells antiques. Gwen looks surprised and says he doesn't look like someone who does that. Bang says he knows and that he's considering doing something else. Hey, sit, please. Gwen asks what he wants to do, and he says he's not sure yet.
He adds that he just feels the need to do something more fulfilling after getting a second chance. Gwen then asks why he needed the transplant and he says he had a bad heart. He adds that it's a condition he struggled with since childhood. He then asks if Gwen visits the park frequently and she says she does.
Bang says he'll see her around when he's free and Gwen says it's fine. As he's about to leave, Gwen stops him and says he got the best part of her husband, Daniel, and that she hopes he takes care of it. The next day, Morgan calls Bang to the antique store and gives him a job to kill another person. Bang reluctantly accepts it and leaves the store while thinking about what Morgan told him the other day regarding his gift and how he could become useless.
Shortly after, Bang completes the job and takes a picture to show Morgan, who gives him more targets to kill. Bang reluctantly agrees to kill all the targets and he takes pictures of the dead men which he shows to Morgan before he gets paid. Days later, Johnny figures out that his wife is cheating on him with Momo. He reports this to his dad and says he'll kill Momo, but Morgan tells him to let Bang handle it.
Johnny says he wants to kill Momo himself. Getting fulfilled, no heat, no blowback. But Morgan insists that Bang will do it. Following this, Bang finds Momo at a museum and gets the job done. Much later, Bang spends more time with Gwen at the park, and they talk about the things they like.
Interestingly, April spots Bang at the park and looks disappointed to see him with Gwen. Despite this, she doesn't let him see her, and she just takes a few pictures of them before leaving. Shortly after, Bang goes home with Gwen and Sam to have dinner with them. When Bang returns home, he packs all the things April left at his house and takes them to her.
April cannot believe this and she begs Bang not to leave her because she thinks they can work things out. Bang says things are now different for him and April seems really pissed. She says she knows he's now seeing Gwen, but Bang just ignores her and heads home. The next day, April meets with Johnny and shows him the pictures she took at the park the other day.
Johnny recognizes Gwen and says that Bang got her husband's heart after their accident. April finds this funny and says it seems Gwen thinks Bang is now her husband. After this, she tells Johnny about some documents she saw at Bang's house. Remember how I told you he threw all that stuff in a garbage bag?
She says it's for a place called Venitzia and that it's probably where Bang goes to hide for a few days after his kills. Johnny thinks there's something suspicious about the place and he heads toward the estate. When he gets there, he notices that the gate is locked. As he wonders why Bang would come to the abandoned estate, he breaks in and sees a building where some men are having fun.
Interestingly, it turns out that Bang didn't actually kill the men Morgan sent him to kill, and he just brought them all to the estate to live a silent life. As he spots Momo, he looks pissed and takes pictures of all the men inside the building. Suddenly, Momo spots Johnny and tries to stop him from leaving, but Johnny quickly runs away and heads back to the antique store. Momo looks disappointed and calls Bang to inform him that Johnny now knows about Venitzia.
When Johnny arrives at the antique store, he tells his dad about how Bang has been faking his kills and sending his targets to an abandoned estate. Morgan doesn't believe this, but Johnny shows him the pictures he took at the estate. It's not the weight that breaks a man's back. Morgan looks shocked and realizes that Bang has been deceiving him.
Johnny blames his dad for making Bang get too comfortable. And Morgan feels bad and thinks about how Bang could have pulled off something like that. Interestingly, it turns out that after staging each kill and sending a picture to Morgan, Bang usually took his targets and their families to Venitzia to keep them safe and prevent Morgan from ever seeing them again. Morgan tells Johnny that there's nothing they can do because if all the people he sent Bang to kill testify against him, he'll go to jail.
Johnny disagrees with his father and says he's not giving up. He adds that they need to act fast by killing Bang and everyone else in Venitzia. Morgan looks proud of his son and tells him to do whatever it takes to kill Bang. Shortly after, Bang heads to Gwen's house and tells her to leave the city because she could be in danger.
Gwen doesn't understand this and she says she knew he wasn't an antique dealer. Bang says she has to trust him and he gives her some money so she can leave immediately. He adds that he'll find her when things get better. Gwen then asks what he'll do to the people who are after him, but he doesn't say anything.
He eventually heads home to pick up his guns and a few other things. Almost immediately, Johnny's men break into the house and try to kill Bang. However, he easily kills them before heading to a nearby hospital to hijack the emergency helicopter so he can quickly reach Venitzia. Luckily, Bang arrives before Johnny and his men, and he tells Momo and the others at Venitzia to keep their family safe because Morgan's people are on the way.
Shortly after, Johnny's men start arriving, and Bong blows up some of their cars. Johnny and some other gangsters escape and a shootout begins between the two groups. Morgan gets restless in his office while watching footage of what's happening in the estate. He eventually calls Johnny for an update and Johnny says Bang is still alive.
Morgan seems annoyed and tells Johnny not to come home if he doesn't kill Bang. Johnny says he'll do that and he continues looking for Bang. Interestingly, Bang and his group appear to be winning the battle and they kill many of Johnny's men. Johnny eventually finds the families of the people in Venitzia, but Bang and Momo stop him before he can shoot at them.
As Johnny gets hurt, he begs Bang not to kill him. However, Bang still points his gun at Johnny and tells him to say goodbye to his dad. Johnny then realizes that Bang's gun has a video recorder attached to it, and he begs Bang not to let his father watch it. Bang doesn't seem to care, and he kills Johnny while Morgan watches from his office.
Bang (2025) Ending Explained
Morgan looks devastated by this and he calls Bang to tell him that he has Gwen and Sam with him. After the call ends, Bang, Momo, and the others head to Morgan's house. There, Morgan thanks April for telling him about Gwen and Sam. He adds that he's sorry he won't be able to let her kill Bang because he wants to do it himself.
April says she doesn't mind as long as she gets to do whatever she wants to Gwen. Morgan then tells his men to take Gwen out of the premises and bury her in a landfill after April is done with her. Just as the men lock Gwen in the trunk of their car, Bang and the others arrive and kill them. When Morgan starts hearing gunshots outside the house, he sends the rest of his guards to go after Bang and kill him.
Unfortunately, this doesn't work out well for him, and Bang kills all the guards in his way as he heads toward Morgan's office. When he gets there, he sees Sam in a baby carrier and walks toward it. He says that Bang is now useless and that he'll cut out Bang's heart before he can hit Bang with an axe. Bang shoots him and he dies.
Meanwhile, Momo and the others kill the guards outside and rescue Gwen, who says that her son is inside. As she runs toward the entrance, Bang comes outside with Sam, and she looks relieved. Three years later, Bang gets married to Gwen and relocates to a new city where they now live together with Sam as a happy family. After a ruthless assassin named Bang gets a second chance at life, he starts having second thoughts about his job.
