Boy Finds a Mystery Device That Gives Him Supernatural Powers.

A boy stumbles upon a strange device that seems ordinary at first. But when he activates it, he gains supernatural powers beyond his imagination. As he learns to control his newfound abilities, his life changes in ways he never expected.

‘SPOILER ALERT’

The movie begins with a group of vampires gathered for a ceremony. The ceremony is going to turn vampires into humans. As they are doing that, a group of people interrupts them, and a fight ensues. In the middle of a lake, a little boy is sitting.

Suddenly, one of the vampires jumps on him, but it is all a nightmare, and the boy, Tony Thompson, wakes up in his bed. When he realizes he is in his room, he rushes to his parents’ room.

His mother, Dottie Thompson, and his father, Bob Thompson, jerk up from their sleep and see their son standing in their room. He tells them the vampires are back again.

Bob thinks it is ridiculous, but Dottie allows Tony to sleep with them for the night. Tony asks if she likes the place, and she acknowledges that it is hard for him to be in a new house and country.

He then hears the wind from the window and asks what it is. Bob tells him that it is the wind, but Tony thinks it is the undead. Bob, trying to get some sleep, orders him to go to sleep.

The next morning, Dottie and Tony go out. On the road, Dottie tries to make him love the place by pointing out beautiful spots, but Tony is not interested.

She asks if Scotland is good, and Tony tells her that it would be if it didn’t have vampires. Dottie reminds him that it is only a dream, but Tony thinks otherwise.

She tries to make it appealing by telling him he will meet new friends at school, but the reality is far from the truth. Tony gets bullied in school.

When he gets to school, a group of kids throws him on the ground, takes his bag, and spills its contents everywhere.

In class, the teacher starts teaching about comets. Tony interrupts, saying it is a ray of light from the sky because he has seen it in his nightmares.

The entire class laughs at Tony, but he continues to tell them there was also a gathering of vampires. The teacher cuts him off, telling him that it is not real.

But Tony is sure that he has seen the vampires, the light from the sky, and the vampire hunters. Frustrated, the teacher kicks him out of the class.

Back at home, Tony sits in his room drawing. Bob comes into his room and gives him golf clubs as a gift. Tony tells him he doesn’t have anyone to play with.

Bob remarks that golf is something he can play alone, but Tony doesn’t want to. Bob then assures him that he will train him himself, but Tony knows his father is too busy to teach him golf.

Dottie comes into the room to tell Bob that she is ready and to say goodbye to Tony. They are going to an event from Bob’s workplace.

Seeing Tony’s drawings, she exclaims that she didn’t know he could draw so well. She then tells him the babysitter is downstairs and hugs him before leaving.

Somewhere else in the forest, a man, Rookery, sleeps in his car. Suddenly, his alarm starts ringing, and he gets up to turn it off before starting to drive.

Bob and Dottie reach the event and go inside. Tony, still in his room, turns off the light and cuts out paper to make it look like fangs, then sticks them on his teeth.

When his babysitter comes in, he scares her. She orders him to go to bed once he finishes his book and to brush his teeth before sleeping.

Rookery spots a bat flying above him and starts following it. The bat tries to escape, flying faster, and Rookery, in pursuit, accidentally breaks through a fence.

Using this distraction, the bat flies away. As it soars through the night, it spots Tony through his bedroom window, wearing fangs and smearing ketchup on his mouth to look like blood.

Thinking Tony is a vampire, the bat enters the room and lands on the fireplace. The bat then transforms into a young boy, but when he sees Tony without the fangs, he realizes Tony isn’t a vampire.

The boy lunges at him, but Tony tries to run. The boy jumps in front of him, blocking the exit, and Tony runs back. However, the boy is too weak to stand and collapses.

Tony cautiously approaches to help, but the boy suddenly gets up and jumps from the balcony, attempting to fly but failing. Tony runs to him, but the boy notices Rookery approaching.

The boy urgently asks Tony where he can find a cow. Tony offers him milk, but the boy insists on a cow, so Tony takes him elsewhere. The boy stands facing the cow.

After hypnotizing the cow, Rudolph moves to the side and starts drinking its blood. Tony, disgusted by this, steps outside to wait for him.

Meanwhile, Rookery is sitting in his car. When he spots Tony, he assumes Tony is a vampire and shines a strong light on him, but Tony remains unaffected. Rookery then starts driving toward him.

At that moment, Rudolph rushes in and pushes Tony out of the way. When Tony opens his eyes, he realizes they are sitting on a flying device. Tony thanks Rudolph for saving his life.

The boy introduces himself as Rudolph, and Tony does the same. Since they’ve both saved each other, Tony suggests they become friends. Rudolph, unfamiliar with the concept, asks what it means, and Tony explains.

At the event, Bob and Dottie are talking with the host, who introduces them to his grandsons—Tony’s bullies. Dottie then excuses herself to get a drink.

As she walks, she is stopped by a man who turns out to be Tony’s teacher. They stand awkwardly in silence until Dottie asks how Tony is doing in class.

The teacher responds that Tony is fitting in well but adds that he seems obsessed with vampires. Suddenly, the room grows silent, and the music stops.

Everyone starts staring at them, and Dottie, feeling uncomfortable, hurries to get her drink. Outside, Rudolph takes Tony flying. Tony marvels at Rudolph’s ability to fly.

Meanwhile, Tony’s babysitter, unable to find him in his room, calls Bob in a panic, stuttering as she explains that Tony is missing.

Tony and Rudolph fly past the party where Bob and Dottie are attending. Tony tells Rudolph that he didn’t expect vampires to be like this.

Rudolph explains that they only drink cow’s blood because they’ve been hunted for centuries and don’t want to harm humans anymore. He adds that they hope to become humans themselves someday.

Suddenly, Tony spots his father’s car and warns Rudolph that those are his parents, and his father will be furious if he finds out he’s been out.

Bob and Dottie arrive home and head to Tony’s room with the babysitter, but they find Tony in bed, pretending to be asleep. The babysitter insists he wasn’t there earlier, but Rudolph is hiding on the roof just above them.

Bob, noticing a strange smell, moves to close the window and steps outside, followed by Dottie and the babysitter. After they leave, Tony quietly gets up, and Rudolph climbs down from the roof.

Rudolph tells Tony he hasn’t had this much fun in a while and thanks him. As he is about to leave, he sees Rookery’s car from afar. Tony tells him he can stay over, and he agrees.

He then asks if he only sleeps in a coffin as a vampire, and Rudolph tells him he can sleep anywhere as long as the sun doesn’t find him. Tony cleans out his toy box and lets him sleep there.

To be able to talk to Rudolph, he sleeps at the bottom of the bed. Tony then falls asleep talking to Rudolph. The next morning, Dottie comes to wake Tony up. She asks why he is sleeping this way and if he was having a nightmare.

Tony confirms but tells her that he has been flying. She then tells him it is time for school and orders him to get ready. He gets up and opens the box, but Rudolph yells, pointing out that the sun is out. Tony apologizes and closes the box.

Tony goes to school, and his bullies approach to bully him once again, but this time he speaks up and tells them all to get out of his way. Because of this, a big fight ensues, and Tony gets beaten.

Dottie treats his wounds, telling him he gets teased because he talks about unrealistic monsters. Tony corrects her, saying it is not a monster, but vampires.

Dottie fears that he can’t make friends if he keeps talking about stuff like that, but Tony reassures her that he already has friends, and she shouldn’t worry.

She asks him to ask for a sleepover. As they talk, Rudolph opens the box a little, and the smell from the previous night returns. Dottie notices, but Rudolph quickly closes the door.

Later, Tony goes to play golf with Bob. They talk about Tony’s behavior, and Tony tries to convince him that the vampires he talks about are real, but Bob insists they are not.

When they return to the house, Tony runs to his room and opens the box, but Rudolph is not there. Looking out the window, he realizes Rudolph has climbed out.

Tony sits on the box, saddened that his friend is gone. Later that night, Rudolph returns. Tony excitedly asks if he’s back so they can go flying, but Rudolph shows him some drawings.

Rudolph asks where Tony saw them before. Tony insists he’ll only tell him if Rudolph takes him flying, and Rudolph agrees. They end up sitting in a cemetery, discussing the drawings.

Rudolph explains that the comet is the Comet Attamon, also known as the Comet of Lost Souls. He says it could bring an end to the vampire curse. A great magician once forged it into an amulet of power, but the vampires lost it.

Tony recalls his dreams and tells Rudolph he’s seen the amulet before. Rudolph adds that his Uncle Von tried to retrieve it but disappeared that same night. Since losing the amulet, their family has been forced to wander endlessly.

Tony vows to help Rudolph find the amulet, convinced his dreams are connected for a reason. Rudolph, thrilled, says they’ll truly be like brothers once they recover it.

As they talk, Rudolph notices his family arriving at the cemetery and warns Tony to hide. Once hidden, Rudolph greets his mother, Freda Sackville-Bagg; his father, Frederick Sackville-Bagg; and his sister, Anna Sackville-Bagg.

While they discuss the amulet, Gregory Sackville-Bagg, Rudolph’s older brother, sneaks up behind Tony. Rudolph quickly intervenes, explaining that Tony is a friend.

Frederick disagrees, saying mortals shouldn’t be trusted, but Rudolph insists that Tony is different—he even dreams about the amulet.

Freda steps in, calming everyone by saying Rudolph wouldn’t lie about something this important, hinting that Tony might truly be on their side.

Frederick agrees to let him go but orders Tony to leave immediately. As Tony walks out of the cemetery, Rookery arrives and starts shooting wooden bullets at them.

Tony unplugs the gun, and Rookery takes out a glowing cross. The Sackville-Bagg family runs away, and Rookery turns his attention to Tony.

He points the glowing cross at him, but Tony stays unfazed. When Rookery walks toward him, Tony runs away but falls into a hole.

Rudolph comes, and they walk through the underground passage until they reach the rest of the family. Frederick accuses Tony of being foolish, but Freda thinks he is brave.

Tony then holds Frederick’s necklace, and they share a vision of Von. He did manage to take the amulet, and in the vision, he is lying on the ground.

A woman approaches and tries to touch the amulet but is stopped by Von. After the vision, Frederick tells them that Von went to Scotland after taking the amulet.

However, he doesn’t recognize the woman from the vision, so the first thing they must do is find her. Tony offers to help, but Frederick remains skeptical of him.

The rest of the family supports Tony, and finally, Frederick reluctantly agrees, though he still warns Tony that he will kill him if he betrays them.

Rudolph and Tony go out, talking about Frederick. Rudolph explains that Frederick doesn’t like mortals because vampires were tormented in the past.

Tony then shares that he gets tormented every day at school, which makes Rudolph angry. The two decide to visit Tony’s bullies, Flint and Nigel, at their house.

Tony confronts them first, but when the boys get up to attack him, Rudolph leaps in, threatening them not to touch Tony ever again.

The boys scream in fear, attracting the attention of their grandfather, Lord McAshton, who rushes in. When he asks what happened, the boys, pretending nothing is wrong, quickly go back to bed.

The next morning, Tony waits for Flint and Nigel at school. As they try to pass by him without a word, he calls out to them and makes them carry his books and bag.

Rookery shows up at Lord McAshton’s house, interrupting a meeting in the study with McAshton, Bob, and a few others. He claims there are vampires roaming the city.

McAshton laughs dismissively and leads Rookery out of the study to question him privately. Rookery explains that the vampires are real and demands payment for hunting them.

McAshton skeptically asks if there have been any vampire attacks or bites, but Rookery admits he hasn’t heard of any. McAshton tells him he’ll only pay if he provides proof of the vampires’ existence and walks away, leaving Rookery frustrated.

Back at the Thompsons’ home, the family gathers for tea. Tony, curious about familycrests, starts asking questions. Bob hands him a paper, explaining that the McAshton family has a crest.

Tony studies the paper and realizes it matches the crest on the coat of the woman he saw in his vision. Excited, he asks to keep the paper and if he can accompany Bob to work tomorrow.

Bob, pleased, agrees and confirms that McAshton will be there since he lives on the estate. Tony eagerly takes the paper and runs to his room.

Later that night, Rookery sits with the graveyard guard, telling him about the vampires. The guard doesn’t completely trust him. Rookery keeps telling him that his family has been hunting vampires for 400 years now.

As they talk, they hear a sound from one of the graves. It is the grave that the Sackville-Bagg family escaped to.

Rookery has a device set up on top to help him lower down. The guard insists that he should be the one to get in. Underneath, the Sackville-Bagg family is sleeping. Rudolph hears a sound and smells a human, but he keeps sleeping. The guard keeps walking inside, and Gregory appears from behind.

The guard, hearing a voice, starts to get frightened, and Rookery notices that the guard’s heartbeat is rising. Gregory then lunges at the guard. When Rookery feels that the guard is being attacked, he pulls him up. As he is pulling him, Gregory, refusing to let go, bites the guard.

Rudolph then warns Gregory to let go of the man because it is a trap, and Gregory lets go of him. Rookery pulls the guard up and sees his neck is bitten. He is satisfied looking at his evidence.

Frederick asks Gregory if he had bitten the man, and Gregory admits he did. His father scolds him for it, but Gregory retaliates, saying that is how they are because they are vampires.

They are the dark gods, but Frederick raised them to be cowards. This sparks an argument, and the family starts to argue.

At this moment, Rookery sends a light into the hole and lights it. The family gets caught off guard, and Frederick covers his family, starting to burn.

Tony arrives and sees what is happening. He throws a stone at the light to break it. The family thanks Tony for saving their lives, and Rookery pulls his device up in anger.

Tony then tells them he found out about the coat of arms. It is Lord McAshton’s, and the missing stone must be at his house. He then notices that Frederick is so weak from the attack, and he takes them to the cows. They all drink their blood and get their energy back.

The family then discusses where they should go now to hide. Tony offers his house, but they need darkness, so he tells them his cellar is suitable for them.

Tony takes them to the cellar, lets them settle inside, and goes back to his bed. When Dottie hears a voice and asks Bob to check on him, Tony is already in bed.

After Bob leaves, Tony takes out his shoes and gets ready for bed, but he hears a sound. Thinking it’s his father, he goes back to bed, but it’s Anna.

She walks into his bed, and he gets up. She then gives him a rat as a gift, saying that it brings good luck. She tells him that if he ever needs her, he can just whistle.

The next morning, the farmer sees that none of his cows are on the field, so he goes to the barn to check them. When he opens the door, some cows are hanging upside down from the ceiling, and some have red eyes. Shocked, he closes the door and flees.

The next morning, Dottie wakes Tony. He excitedly wakes up and reminds her he is going to work with Bob today. She suggests he invite Rudolph, but Tony tells her he can’t make it.

She then jokes about him being mysterious and tells him she wants to meet him one of these days or have his parents come for dinner to meet them.

Tony jokes that they would rather have her for dinner, but Dottie doesn’t think much of it and tells him to get ready.

Tony goes to the McAshton’s place with his father. They meet Lord McAshton, but as they are standing in the front yard, Rookery arrives in his car.

Tony gets shocked seeing him and hides behind Bob. McAshton excuses himself and goes to Rookery. Bob warns Tony not to talk to him because the man is crazy and leads him to the house.

McAshton asks why he is here, and Rookery tells him he got the proof and takes him to the side of the car. He then opens a compartment and pulls the guard out.

McAshton gets startled at the sight of the body, but Rookery, unfazed, shows him the bite marks on the neck. The guard rises, but Rookery pushes him back.

McAshton thinks the vampires attacking them are their ancestor Elizabeth and her vampire lover. He takes him to the house and shows him the picture of Elizabeth.

Rookery sees the stone on her neck. McAshton explains that she started a relationship with a vampire and became one herself. Rookery realizes that it is Von.

The McAshton family kills her after she turns into a vampire. Rookery asks where she is buried. When asked why, he tells McAshton he is going to verify if she is really buried there.

Because if she is alive, the first person she is going to attack is the McAshton family. McAshton then takes him to another room. Tony looks at them going and follows them there.

They open a tomb, but there is nothing inside. Rookery realizes that she has been moved and that she was moved centuries ago, not even recently.

Tony, looking at them from upstairs, slips and falls from where he is. He falls inside the coffin, and Rookery recognizes him. He then calls him a vampire sympathizer and pushes him inside.

He then closes the coffin’s door on him, saying that is where he belongs. McAshton protests, saying that it is murder and that he is just a boy.

Rookery threatens McAshton, saying that he will hurt him if he intervenes. McAshton asks what he wants him to do, and Rookery orders him to go out and not say a word to anyone.

Tony realizes that no one will come to save him. He then sees a rat by the door and remembers the rat that Anna gave him. He takes it out and starts whistling.

In the Thompson’s cellar, Anna gets up after hearing the whistle. She wakes Rudolph and tells him that Tony is calling for them and might be in trouble.

When they get up, they see that it is sunlight, so they decide to use a helmet and a blanket. They cover themselves well and go out with Rudolph leading the way.

Outside, Bob sees Rudolph and Anna and thinks that it is Tony, scolding him for leaving without announcing. But when he gets close, he realizes it is not Tony and assumes it is Rudolph, with the one behind him being Tony.

Bob then apologizes to Rudolph for scolding him and tells Tony they will have a serious talk later that night. He goes to Dottie, who was looking at them from the door.

When she asks what happened, he tells her that Tony ran off from the McAshton’s house and he was worried about him. But now, seeing him play with his friend makes him happy.

Rudolph and Anna rescue Tony from the tomb. Tony happily thanks them for saving his life. He then sees a rat trying to show them something.

Tony tells them that, and they all follow the rat and see a secret passage. Then they use a big light that Rookery left behind to look around.

Meanwhile, Rookery is digging the yard to find Elizabeth’s tomb. While distracted by this, the graveyard guard, now a newly transformed vampire, wakes up.

In the Thompson’s cellar, Frederick and Freda wake up and see that the children are gone. Frederick then sees that the amulet with them is gone.

He thinks that Gregory stole it, but Freda believes he would never betray them. If he really took it, it is to make the final call, so they should go to the cliff now. But Frederick is too weak to fly, so they don’t have any means of going.

Upstairs, they hear the Thompsons talk about their son. They are worried that he has been gone for a long time. Bob thinks Rudolph is being a bad influence, and finally, Dottie decides to call the police. At the same time, the doorbell rings, and Bob goes to answer it.

At the door is Freda standing. She introduces herself as Rudolph’s mother. Bob looks at her in awe. Frederick appears from behind too and kisses Dottie’s hand.

They tell the Thompsons that Tony is with their children and on the cliff to see the comet. They ask them if they want to join, and the Thompsons agree.

They all go out to walk and they see McAshton driving towards them. McAshton gets out of the car and starts explaining ways to kill a vampire.

Bob looks at him confused and asks what he is talking about. McAshton tells him that it is a way to kill a vampire and suggests he kill Tony because he is a vampire.

Bob loses his patience and yells at him, saying that he can’t call his son a vampire and that he can’t keep embarrassing him in front of his guests. McAshton gets in his car after Freda and Frederick tell him to do so.

The others also get into Bob’s car. McAshton sees Frederick and Freda and realizes that they are vampires. But on the back seat, the graveyard guard is sitting.

The three keep looking for Elizabeth’s tomb, but they reach a point where vampires can’t pass because of a curse, so Tony walks alone.

He finally finds a tomb and approaches it, but it is chained, and he can’t open it. The curse is also written on top of it, so Rudolph and Anna can’t help him.

Suddenly, Rookery’s drill starts drilling right on top of the tomb, and Tony, excited, thinks it will drill through the chains hidden by the wall.

As he expects, the drill goes right into the tomb, removing the curse along with the chains. Rudolph and Anna also open the lid of the coffin and find Von and Elizabeth with wood on their hearts.

Tony reaches for Elizabeth’s necklace, but the stone is not there. Then he has a vision of Von and Elizabeth getting chased by people with torches.

Elizabeth runs to the current house of the Thompsons and gets inside a room, which is now Tony’s room. She hides the stone under the floor, but the people chasing her catch up to her.

Tony tells them that the stone is in his room, and Rookery also hears this. At the same time, Gregory reaches the cliff and uses the amulet to call the vampires by waving it in the air.

Frederick and Freda hear it, as do Rudolph and Anna. They all respond, and Anna goes to the cliff while Rudolph and Tony go to the house to get the stone.

When Frederick and Freda reach the cliff, they find Anna. Soon, other vampires show up and surround the Thompsons’ car. Frederick comes and tells them that they are friends.

Tony and Rudolph reach the Thompsons’ house and go straight to Tony’s room. They start looking for the stone, but Rookery shows up.

He breaks inside just as they find the stone. He takes out the glowing cross, and Rudolph hides under the fireplace. He then grabs Tony, jumps from the window, and escapes.

In the car, Rookery takes the stone from Tony, but suddenly, the vampire cows come blocking their way. Rookery gets angry and turns the lights on.

Among the cows, Rudolph is also there. Rookery tries to get past them, but the cows keep throwing their dung on the windshield, blocking his view.

Suddenly, Tony picks up the stone again, but Rookery takes it back. Rudolph comes flying above and pulls Tony up. Tony then shows him the stone, revealing that what Rookery had taken was actually the rat Anna gave him.

They fly to the group of vampires waiting for them. Dottie and Bob look at their son flying with Rudolph and are surprised.

Tony gives the stone to Frederick, and he quickly starts the ceremony. But Rookery arrives, flying a blimp. He snatches the stone from Frederick and starts threatening the vampires with his cross.

At this moment, the Thompsons interrupt and hit him. Tony takes the stone and continues the ceremony. He wishes for the vampires to become humans. Rudolph and his family disappear along with all the vampires.

The Thompson family gets confused, thinking the ceremony didn’t work, and Tony stands on top of the cliff crying.

After some time, Tony sees Rudolph and Anna from afar and goes to talk to them, but they don’t recognize him. As they walk away, he whistles, and they recognize him.

Then Frederick, Freda, and Gregory—now humans—also come out and see Dottie, Bob, and Tony. They recognize them. They all stand looking at each other, and Tony runs to greet his friends.

The story teaches us that true friendship goes beyond differences, as understanding and kindness can unite even the most unlikely companions.
