Girl Thought Babysitting These Kids Would Be Easy But She Was So Wrong.

A girl takes on a babysitting job, thinking it will be an easy way to earn money. However, the kids turn out to be more than she bargained for, bringing chaos and mischief that leave her completely overwhelmed.

‘SPOILER ALERT’

The movie begins with a young woman, Jenny Parker, giving herself affirmations. At the same time, another woman, Lola Perez, is fully engrossed in creating her art.

After finishing, Lola runs outside with her painting. Jenny also leaves her house to get into her car. As she starts the car, she almost hits a guy, Zac Chase.

They exchange greetings, and she asks what he is doing in her driveway. He explains that the football team is hosting a car wash and offers to help with her tire as well.

She nervously agrees, and after he leaves, she excitedly relives their conversation to herself before continuing her drive. On the road, Lola speeds past her, irritating her.

Jenny walks into a building. Inside, she keeps giving affirmations for herself. Lola also gets into the same building talking to her mother over the phone. She stumbles upon Jenny and greets her.

Both women realize they are there for the same photography internship. An assistant comes to collect their portfolios and tells them to wait while their work is reviewed.

The women sit, and Lola asks if Jenny goes to Highland Park, which Jenny confirms. Lola then recalls who Jenny is and jokes about her being the nerdy sophomore in her senior geometry class.

Feeling proud, Jenny explains that she skipped 8th grade and will get early admission to college. She adds that she has 30 hours of community service, a 4.2 GPA, and that this internship will enhance her transcript.

Lola, realizing Jenny is focused on her transcript, asks if that’s the main reason she’s there. Jenny tries to downplay it, claiming she also has a passion for photography.

Lola then tells Jenny she was interning during the summer, but their conversation is interrupted by a phone call. Jenny answers, and the woman on the other end asks if she can babysit that night.

Jenny replies that she’s already booked but promises to find another babysitter before hanging up. After the call, Lola teases her about being a babysitter, but Jenny counters that it pays 20 dollars per hour.

As they continue talking, the artist they are applying to work with, Mr. Vasquez, arrives, and they both stand up. In the process, Jenny accidentally spills her drink, and they both drop their phones while trying to manage the mess.

Finally, they compose themselves to speak to Mr. Vasquez, but he informs them there won’t be an interview that day.

He advises them to improve their work and gives them the weekend to produce better photographs before returning. They thank him and go their separate ways.

When Lola steps outside, she notices an officer writing her a ticket for parking in the wrong spot. She hurries to stop him, but it’s too late—he’s already issued the ticket.

Suddenly, a phone rings, but it’s not Lola’s ringtone. The officer recognizes the Beethoven tune and compliments it. Seizing the moment, Lola pretends it’s her phone.

The officer asks if it’s her boyfriend calling, and Lola replies that she’s single before answering. It’s actually Jenny’s phone, and the caller is Zac.

Zac says he has a ticket for a show and wonders if they could go together, but Lola, maintaining a flirtatious tone with the officer, dismisses him, saying she’s not interested, and hangs up.

She continues pleading with the officer, but he insists he can’t bend the rules because he’s a rookie, handing her an 80-dollar ticket.

Frustrated, Lola contemplates how to come up with the money when Jenny’s phone rings again. This time, it’s the woman who called earlier asking for a babysitter.

Lola answers, and the woman, Helen Anderson, explains that she’s attending an awards gala as a guest of honor and desperately needs a babysitter. She even offers to pay double.

Seeing an opportunity, Lola lies and says she has a friend named Lola who is very responsible. Helen, relieved, happily agrees and hangs up.

Jenny goes to Zac to take him up on his offer to clean her tires, but his demeanor has changed. He speaks briefly, telling her they’re closed, and walks away with another girl. Feeling disappointed, Jenny drives off, assuming he’s no longer interested.

Meanwhile, Trey, Helen’s son, is on the phone making plans with his friends, excited that his mom will be out for the night. While he’s talking, Helen enters his room.

She confiscates all his electronics, scolding him for spending 200 dollars on apps without permission. Before leaving, she instructs him to behave for the babysitter and walks out.

Helen goes downstairs and finds her kitchen in a big mess because her other son, Bobby, is baking. Her daughter, Alison, is on her rollerblades, upset that her father canceled their plans for the day.

Elsewhere, a woman named Donna Cooper is also getting ready to go to the same event, with her daughter Katy helping her choose an outfit.

Donna notices Katy’s earrings and tells her to take them off, reminding her she isn’t allowed to wear the expensive earrings.

Katy retaliates, arguing that her sister is allowed to shave her head, so why can’t she wear diamonds. Hearing this, Donna rushes to the bathroom and finds her daughter Emily with a shaver.

She stops her, takes the shaver away, and tells her to behave for Jenny. However, Emily storms out of the bathroom, declaring she’s too old for babysitters.

Jenny reaches the Coopers’ driveway when a phone rings. She realizes it’s not her phone, and when she answers, a group of guys invites Lola to a toga party. Frustrated by the inconvenience, she hangs up.

Lola arrives at the Andersons’ house and rings the doorbell. Helen greets her and asks how long she has known Jenny. Lola lies, saying they’ve known each other for a long time.

Helen introduces Bobby and explains that he’s baking 100 cupcakes for his junior chef competition tomorrow. Bobby asks Lola to taste his frosting, which she compliments but also suggests an improvement for.

Helen then tells her that Trey is grounded and upstairs in his room, while Alison is upset because she couldn’t go to the roller derby. Finally, she introduces Lady Marmalade, their dog.

Helen gives Lola instructions for the day and writes down her phone number. Helen’s husband Hai Anderson arrives and greets Lola.

When Jenny gets inside the house, Donna and her husband, Barry, are getting ready to leave. After a brief greeting, they leave, and Jenny is left with the kids.

Meanwhile, Lola adds detergent to the washing machine and heads to the hot tub. Inside, Bobby accidentally starts a fire while baking, but Lola is outside.

He repeatedly calls her, and she rushes inside to find a fire on the rug. Shocked, she tries to put it out using a fire extinguisher.

At the same time, Jenny calls her own phone, and it rings in the Andersons’ house. Alison picks it up, and when she realizes it’s Jenny, she introduces herself.

Jenny is confused, but Alison informs her that Lola is babysitting and is currently trying to put out a fire. Shocked, Jenny says she’ll be right there.

She then calls the kids to come downstairs because they’re going to the Andersons. Emily gets excited because she’ll have a chance to meet Trey.

After putting out the fire, Lola decides to capture the moment and goes to the car but gets locked outside. When Jenny arrives, Lola is standing outside, asking to be let in. At the same time, Trey sneaks out through the roof.

They both get inside the house, but Jenny can’t believe the mess she’s looking at. She starts to worry about her reputation.

Emily asks for Trey, but Lola doesn’t even know who he is. Emily goes to Trey’s room, but there’s no one there. She notices the window is open and realizes that he must have snuck out.

She tells the others, and they all go through his tablet, finding that he purchased a ticket. Jenny gets angry at Lola for being so reckless, leaving a 14-year-old boy out in the city alone.

They start arguing, and Jenny reveals that she doesn’t even know Lola. The kids tell Jenny that their mother thinks they know each other very well.

Lola comes up with the idea to go to the city together to find Trey, but Jenny refuses. The kids threaten to tell their mother about Lola, so, with no other choice, Jenny agrees.

Since their car doesn’t fit everyone, they decide to use Helen’s brand new SUV. When they open the garage, Jenny hesitates, but then she decides to be the driver, and they all get in.

Jenny tells them they are going to tell their parents they’re out for ice cream. Lola then starts taking pictures despite Jenny’s disapproval.

Back at home, the laundry, which is overloaded, bursts open. Meanwhile, Lady Marmalade jumps up on the kitchen counter and knocks on Bobby’s frosting pan, spilling it everywhere.

The group reaches their destination, but Katy asks to go to the bathroom. Jenny decides they’ll all go together, and they get out after parking the car. However, it’s a no parking zone.

They enter a shady store since that’s where the GPS directs them, and ask about a teenage boy who came earlier to buy tickets.

The man points to a man training with a sword and says he’s the one who deals with those things. Jenny hesitates, seeing the sword, but Lola reminds her they don’t have time, so they approach him.

They ask him about Trey, but he’s not willing to cooperate. Seeing this, Lola threatens to call the police, and the man decides to share some details, mentioning that Trey went to grab a pizza.

The explanation is still vague because there are many pizza places, but Emily tells them that Trey’s favorite pizza place is Mario’s.

Meanwhile, Bobby spots a ferret in a cage and tries to feed it, but it bites him. Suddenly, the ferret escapes the cage and starts running through the store.

It knocks over everything as it runs across the tables, and the store owner chases it until he catches it. Lola, seeing the chaos as a perfect moment for her photography, captures it.

When the man argues with Jenny, saying she’s not allowed to take pictures, the ferret escapes again. At the same time, Jenny notices the car outside is being towed.

They all run out of the store and approach the woman who is towing the car, but she demands 100 dollars. Jenny agrees to pay, only to realize she left her wallet at the Andersons’.

The woman gives Jenny her card, telling her she can come by until midnight to retrieve the car. Jenny takes the car as the woman drives away.

However, she drives into a puddle, splashing dirty water all over the new SUV. The kids scream behind her, but she continues driving.

Now, the group is left without money or a car. Jenny reassures them that everything will be okay. She has 10 dollars for ice cream, and they’ll use that to go to Mario’s and find Trey.

They begin walking to the bus stop. Jenny notices Bobby eating a candy bar and asks where he got it from. He admits he took it from the store, and she starts pestering him about it.

As they’re talking, the two men from the store appear behind them, telling them to stop. Thinking they’re in trouble, the group runs to escape, and a van pulls up between them and the men, giving the group a chance to get away.

The van splashes dirty water from the puddle onto the two men. The store owner, Tiny, tells the other man that they must find the kids because they took a picture of him with the ferret. The other man suggests they can catch up with them at the pizza place.

The group heads to the bus, but they don’t have enough money for it. Jenny and Lola start blaming each other for the situation, but finally, the driver lets them on.

They eventually reach Mario’s and find Trey with his friends. When he sees Jenny, he gets excited because she’s his crush, but she tells him he’s going back home with them.

Trey wants to go to the concert, but Jenny tells him they have bigger problems than that and explains about the car. Lola then comes up with the idea to sell Trey’s ticket to pay for the car.

Trey refuses to give up his ticket, and Lola threatens to tell his mother about him sneaking out. She takes out her phone to call Helen, and finally, Trey gives up his ticket.

Katy then asks to go to the bathroom since she couldn’t when they were at the store, and Jenny takes her.

Emily tries to start a conversation with Trey, but he ignores her and begins talking to his friends about Jenny. This makes Emily angry, and she decides to leave.

She tells Lola she’s going to the tattoo place. Lola encourages her to express herself, and Emily leaves the pizza place.

In the bathroom, Jenny overhears girls talking about Zac’s date to the concert and accidentally makes a noise. When they exit, they see it’s Jenny.

They ask what she’s doing in the city on a Friday night, and she pretends she’s here with friends to have fun. Katy gets off the stool and asks for help with her clothing.

Jenny goes to help her, pretending not to know her, but she quickly rushes her out of the bathroom. When they leave, they find that no one is at the restaurant.

Jenny searches for the kids and finds Lola. Lola starts taking pictures of her, but Jenny is focused on looking for the others. She locates all of them but realizes Emily is missing.

Lola tells her that Emily has gone to the tattoo place, which shocks Jenny. Just then, Emily walks in, and Jenny asks if she really got a tattoo.

Emily shows her that it’s just Henna and reveals her arm. Lola starts taking pictures, but Jenny becomes hysterical about it.

In the midst of the chaos, Tiny walks in with the other man. Bobby tells them they’re here, and they all rush out. The men chase them, but the group manages to escape into a clothing store.

They hide inside and the two men follow them inside and start looking for them. The group manages to remain undetected.

Finally Lola comes up with the idea to get in the clothes that are in the hangers and are moving to the upper floor and escape.

They all get changed but are spotted by Tiny. The group rushes upstairs, but there’s no way to escape except a chain they can use to climb down.

The kids use the chain to go downstairs, and as Jenny follows, Lola takes a picture of her. The men catch up to Lola, but she pushes a pile of clothes and jumps.

They fall into a slide that takes them to a laundry area, where they’re soaked in soap. The group successfully escapes.

They go outside, and everyone sits down. Lola tries to sell the ticket. Meanwhile, Tiny and the other man arrive, still looking for them.

As Lola is selling the ticket, a police officer approaches and informs her that reselling tickets at a venue is illegal. Tiny sees Lola talking to the officer and thinks she’s reporting him.

Lola tries to lie, claiming she’s trying to donate the ticket, but the officer believes she’s bribing him and decides to arrest her.

They all end up at the police station, and Jenny is told Lola is being booked. Lola is interrogated by the officer. She explains about Tiny and the other man chasing them and the ferret.

The officer, thinking she’s lying, tells her that it’s a crime to lie to him. She tries to convince him but to no avail. Meanwhile, Jenny is trying to figure out a solution.

Emily approaches Jenny to ask if she has any friends who can help them, but Jenny doesn’t have anyone. Suddenly, she becomes suspicious and takes off Emily’s beanie, revealing dyed hair.

Emily tries to explain that it’s just a little hair dye, but Jenny is too upset to listen. She scolds Emily, telling her to sit while she figures out what to do, and Emily obeys.

Jenny sits down and starts crying, and Emily follows suit.

Back in the interrogation room, the officer Lola met earlier, Officer James, walks in and asks if there’s a problem.

Seeing him, Lola smiles. Outside, a group of roller skaters arrives at the station because of a fight among them. Alison recognizes one of the skaters and goes over to tell her that she’s a fan.

Alison shows her some moves, and the woman returns the favor by showing hers. Meanwhile, Emily notices the man next to her is sleeping and steals his phone to call her mother.

She calls Donna, but Donna is at the event and can’t hear the phone. Emily starts leaving a voicemail, saying that Jenny stole the Anderson’s car and now they’re all arrested.

While Emily is leaving the voicemail, the man wakes up and snatches the phone from her hand.

Back with Lola, Officer James clears her out of the interrogation room and sits down to talk to her about her actions.

He starts giving her advice on how to better herself and be an example for the kids she’s babysitting, but Lola tells him the truth about herself.

She admits that she lied during their first interaction and that she’s not even the real babysitter. She confesses that she couldn’t go to art college because of her grades, but this internship means everything to her.

She shares her passion for art and concludes by saying she doesn’t belong in jail. James listens and agrees with her, finally letting her go.

When she exits, the kids all run to her and hug her in excitement. Moments later, the roller skaters start fighting, and the police station turns chaotic.

The group leaves, and Jenny finally decides to call the kids’ parents. Lola refuses, and they start arguing.

Tiny spots them from across the street and approaches. He silently gestures toward Alison, but she hits him, causing him to fall. He drops the car keys when he falls, but when she calls for help, Jenny and Lola are too busy arguing to hear her.

With no other choice, Alison keeps skating with her rollerblades to escape. Bobby alerts Jenny and Lola, and Lola finds Tiny’s car keys on the ground. They decide to use them.

Meanwhile, Donna and Barry leave the event after hearing Emily’s voicemail. Donna thinks it’s a prank, but Barry insists on going.

Jenny and Lola get into Tiny’s car to follow Alison. Alison is skating down the streets with Tiny and the other man in pursuit.

She weaves through barricades and crowds to evade them. Tiny watches as his car passes by him, and the other man is on a bicycle, trying to catch up with Alison.

Donna and Barry pass by Alison and are shocked to see the Andersons’ daughter skating through the city at this hour.

Alison finally manages to skate onto a table, but the man chasing her stumbles and falls, giving her the chance to escape.

The others join her, and they keep running from Tiny and the other man, abandoning Tiny’s car. They make their way into a club through the back door.

When they exit, they end up on the stage, and Jenny accidentally unplugs the sound system. The DJ gets angry and approaches her.

Jenny apologizes and tries to back away, but the DJ tells her that since they are on the stage and interrupted his music, she has to rap.

Jenny refuses, but the DJ forces her to take the mic and introduces her. The DJ starts the beat, and Jenny begins to explain their situation through a rap, with the others joining in. Jenny and Lola start blaming each other, and their argument quickly turns into a battle rap.

The DJ hands Lola another mic, and the battle continues. The crowd enjoys the performance, and eventually, the two women reconcile and start rapping together in harmony.

Tiny and the other man enter through the front door, and when they spot the group, they rush toward the back. As the men approach the stage, they are stopped by the guards and the DJ.

Meanwhile, Donna and Barry arrive at the police station to inquire about their kids, but the officers are uncooperative and even mock them. Barry storms out, followed by Donna shortly after.

The group starts walking back when Lola notices Emily looking downcast. She asks Jenny if she can talk to her. Jenny approaches Emily and apologizes for snapping at her earlier.

Emily shrugs it off, but Jenny insists, telling her she’s beautiful just as she is and doesn’t need green hair or tattoos to stand out.

Jenny notices Emily glancing at Trey and tells her that if Trey doesn’t recognize her worth, it’s his loss. Touched, Emily hugs her and thanks her for the kind words, then admits she was the one who called her parents.

Meanwhile, Donna and Barry leave the police station, arguing over their next steps. Donna realizes she’s wearing mismatched shoes and yells at Barry to hail a taxi.

As they’re about to get in, Donna spots Emily in the distance, but Barry dismisses it, saying their daughter doesn’t have green hair. Convinced, they board the taxi.

The group debates their next move. They try calling Donna to explain it was all a prank, using Lola’s phone, but Donna ignores the call, saying she doesn’t recognize the number. Now stuck with no car and no money, they’re at a loss.

Lola suggests sneaking into the event to explain everything, but Jenny immediately rejects the idea.

Katy then suggests a plan: her mother always keeps 300 dollars in her coat pocket for emergencies. They could go to the event and retrieve it. After some hesitation, Jenny reluctantly agrees.

The group approaches the hotel where the event is being held. After some quick thinking, they manage to convince the guard to let them in. As they step inside, Jenny spots a large poster of Helen Anderson, realizing that the Andersons are also at the event.

Lola starts searching for the brochure Helen had given her earlier, the one with Helen’s phone number, but it’s nowhere to be found.

Meanwhile, Tiny, back at his car, discovers the brochure. Lola must have dropped it while driving earlier. Now he knows exactly where the group is.

The group sneaks into the event to reach the coat storage. When they pass by the kitchen, Bobby excitedly stops to watch the chefs.

One chef argues with the head chef and quits, throwing his hat in frustration. Seeing an opportunity, Bobby grabs the hat to join them.

Meanwhile, Jenny, Lola, and the others hide behind the coat rack and spot Barry and Donna returning. Donna accuses Barry of being paranoid since their kids aren’t in city jail. She reassures him, insisting Jenny is the most responsible babysitter.

Still skeptical, Barry wants to retrieve their coat, but Donna decides to have dessert and walks into the dining area. Barry reluctantly takes the coat and follows her.

Since the coat is now inside the event, they come up with a plan to disguise Lola as an attendee. She changes into heels and wears a fur coat to blend in.

Struggling to walk in heels, Lola hesitates, but Jenny encourages her, and she confidently strides into the event.

Back in the kitchen, Bobby experiments with spices, rejecting every suggestion from the chefs. Finally, he finds the perfect ingredient and begins preparing the final topping.

Tiny and his ally come to the hotel but are stopped by the guard. They ask about the kids, and when the guard confronts them about who they are, they tell him that they are their uncles.

He tells them they should wait, but when he turns, they sneak in. He quickly notifies the other guards that two suspicious men are inside.

Lola goes in and sits with the Coopers and starts to talk nonsense. Donna, confused, just appreciates the dessert.

She then notices the earrings Lola is wearing and tells her they look exactly like hers, and Lola tells her that she got them as a gift from her boyfriend.

Donna starts to argue with Barry, saying that he told her the earrings are one of a kind. Lola then picks up Donna’s coat, appreciating the fabric.

Meanwhile, Jenny and Katy are looking at Lola from afar and taking pictures of her. Tiny and the other man are also looking around to find them.

Donna, still distracted with her conversation with Barry, turns back to him, and Lola gets into the pocket to steal the money. At first, she only finds twenty dollars, but then she opens another small purse and finds the money.

At the same time, Tiny and his ally reach where Jenny and Katy are and try to take the camera from Jenny. Jenny refuses to give it, and Katy hits the man, allowing them to escape.

Suddenly, the ferret escapes from Tiny’s friend’s pocket and starts running through the event, causing a big commotion. Lola stumbles upon Helen but manages to pass without being recognized.

Security arrives and arrests Tiny. In the storage room, Trey talks to Emily and asks why she dyed her hair. She tells him it’s because she thinks she’s boring, but he reassures her, saying he thinks she’s cool.

At this moment, Jenny and Lola come in and tell the kids they need to get out. They all run outside and see Tiny and the other guy being arrested.

As they leave, Lola tells Jenny about the phone call she received from Zac. She explains that he invited her to a concert, but she was with Officer James and pretended she wasn’t interested.

Jenny gets angry, having heard that Zac is now taking another woman to the concert, even though he had planned to take Lola.

She tells Lola that it was the most important call, and Lola ruined it. Trying to fix her mistake, Lola decides to call a taxi and take Jenny to the concert.

When they reach the concert, they realize they don’t have tickets. Lola approaches the guard and asks what it will take to let them all in.

The guard tells her she can’t bring the camera inside anyway, so he offers to let them in if she gives him the camera. Lola removes the memory card and hands over the camera.

Seeing this, Jenny confronts her, arguing that she can’t give up the camera, but Lola reassures her, and they all enter.

Katy and Lola take Jenny to the bathroom to fix her up, and they succeed. Jenny then heads to the concert hall to find Zac.

The crowd is massive, and she can’t locate Zac, so she gets on stage and calls out his name. Zac sees her and asks what she’s doing. She tells him she’s looking for him.

Zac reminds her that she told him to get lost, but she explains that someone took her phone, and she would’ve said yes otherwise. He walks up to the stage to talk to her, but Lola and the kids interrupt.

Lola informs her that the Andersons left a voicemail. When they listen to it, Helen is asking about the smoke alarm that went off and mentioning the Coopers searching for their kids at a police station. She then warns Lola that they’re on their way home.

Jenny and Lola decide to come clean with the parents about their situation, but Trey interrupts. He reminds them that they’ve all done something wrong, and if their parents find out, they’ll be grounded.

The group decides to act quickly and get everything in order before the parents arrive, so they run to Zac’s car. First, they retrieve Helen’s car and drive to the Andersons’ house.

Seeing the house in disarray, they split up to clean. Zac and Trey wash the car, Jenny and Katy clean up the water from the laundry, while the rest tackle the kitchen. Emily takes care of washing Lady Marmalade.

They manage to finish everything in time and go to their respective places. When the Andersons return, they find Lola sitting alone, calmly reading a magazine, while the kids pretend to be asleep in their rooms.

Jenny also gets the Coopers’ kids home in time. When the Coopers arrive, she says goodnight and steps outside. As she approaches her car, she notices Zac’s car and turns to talk to him.

Meanwhile, James pulls Lola over on her way home. When she realizes it’s him, she jokes that he should take a night off sometimes. James smiles and asks if she’d like to go out with him on Saturday. Lola happily agrees.

Emily and Katy, watching through the window, encourage them to ask each other out. Jenny and Zac set up a date and share a laugh.

Jenny and Lola meet at the internship place, but Jenny tells her she doesn’t love photography as much as Lola does, so she decides to withdraw her application.

She gives Lola a photo of them together and asks her to send the photos from the previous night. Afterward, Lola sends all the pictures to everyone.

The kids look through them, laughing and reminiscing about the night. Unbeknownst to them, Helen is also looking at the photos on her laptop in awe.

The story shows how friendship and teamwork help overcome challenges. It teaches that being honest and expressing yourself can lead to growth and understanding.
